Connecting a Channel

Navigate to the Channels page and click "Add Channel." You will be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen where you grant VidFlow read and upload permissions for your YouTube account. After authorising, you are returned to the Channels page where your newly connected channel appears with its subscriber count, channel art, and recent uploads displayed. You can connect multiple channels and switch between them freely.

Generating Channel Branding

Rather than uploading finished assets, VidFlow generates your channel branding for you. From the channel page you can have the AI produce channel name ideas, a description, SEO keywords, a logo, a banner, and social images — each one regenerable until it feels right. The pieces you keep can then be pushed straight to YouTube to update your real channel.

Setting a Default Voice

Each channel can pin a default voice from the curated library. When that channel is active, the default voice is pre-selected in the Voiceover stage of every new project, so a recurring series keeps a consistent sound without you choosing the voice each time. You can always override the voice on an individual project.

Disconnecting a Channel

To remove a channel, click the overflow menu on the channel card and select "Disconnect Channel." Disconnecting revokes the OAuth token and removes the channel from your account, but it does not delete any projects or assets that were created under that channel — those remain in your account and can still be edited and exported. You can reconnect the same channel at any time by going through the OAuth flow again.
